Ryan Burke

Graduating from the University of Ulster with a Construction Engineering & Management degree, Ryan immediately entered the wind energy industry, spending a decade working in various roles where he gained valuable experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Technical matters, Site Management, Project Management and Bids & Tenders. 

Ryan relishes his role at the forefront of the energy transition which has seen him help deliver some of the industry's biggest, most challenging and exciting projects both onshore and offshore within the UK/Ireland, Europe and North Africa. He is passionate about playing his part in tackling the challenges associated with climate change and mitigating impacts which could effect future generations. 

Ryan is committed to seeing wind energy established as a key driver in mitigating climate change, supporting its continued growth to become a mainstay of the energy market. Leading with humility and a ‘can do’ attitude, in a relatively short timeframe he has helped establish Global Wind Projects as a leading provider of onshore and offshore wind turbine crane and installation services.
