We were proud to partner with our sister company, Global Crane Services, who were recently appointed by DSV Air & Sea to install two bespoke Kone Goliath overhead cranes in Govan, Glasgow.

For this project, Global Crane Services engaged trusted suppliers for engineering and Self-Propelled Modular Transporters. They also collaborated with us for contract lift planning and labour resources, as the job demanded specialised personnel with the capabilities to ensure everything ran smoothly and, of course, safely.

We were fortunate to deploy our two dual branded Liebherr LG 1750 cranes for the job. Their strength and reliability, even in a reduced capacity configuration, allowed them to remain in one location while handling the complex lifts required throughout.

These Goliath overhead cranes will be a key feature of the new state-of-the-art shipbuilding facility being developed by McLaughlin & Harvey, marking a promising future for the shipbuilding industry along the Upper Clyde.
