Our valued client, Nordex, has been commissioned by RWE to manufacture, deliver, and install 13 x N133 Delta4000 series & 2 x N117 Delta series turbines for their onshore wind farm, Enoch Hill, in East Ayrshire.

Global Wind Projects' scope encompasses the provision of cranes and skilled wind turbine technicians for the installation of the WTGs, as well as ensuring the mechanical and electrical completion of the project. In partnership with our sister company, Global Cranes Services, the Liebherr LTM1750 has been deployed for this project.

With a team of 40 personnel deployed, this project follows our installation and M&E completion of twenty-nine turbines for Nordex at SSE Renewables' Yellow River Wind Farm in Ireland."

Once constructed, the 15 Nordex wind turbines - with an overall maximum tip height of 149.9 meters - at Enoch Hill will be capable of generating enough electricity to power approximately 67,000 UK homes. With a capacity of 69 MW, Enoch Hill will be RWE's largest onshore wind farm built in Scotland.
