Following his graduation from the University of Ulster with a Construction Engineering and Management degree, Ryan immediately began his career in the Wind Industry where he spent a decade working in various roles from Site Management through to Technical, Project Management and Bids and Tenders giving him a broad depth of project & industry knowledge.

Ryan has been involved in some of the industry's biggest, most challenging, and exciting projects both Onshore and Offshore within UK/Ireland, across Europe and N. Africa.

What are your Professional Goals / Aspirations for the industry?

"To support the business aspirations of being at the forefront of the energy transition, with the sustainable diversification and growth of the Global Wind Projects division.

I have always been passionate about playing my part in tackling the challenges associated with climate change and to mitigate the impact for the generations to come. The Wind Sector will be one of the cornerstones to tackle climate change and I aspire to see its continued growth and becoming the mainstay of the energy market".

What inspires you?

The one team approach – setting a common goal, always do your best and share in the success or learn from the failure.

Leadership with humility.

No one is above doing what needs to be done.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

Know what you know, know what you don’t know, and don’t be afraid to ask.
